Master the AI Harness.

Everyone is learning to prompt. Almost nobody is learning to engineer the machine around the model — the harness, the loop, the graph, the retrieval, the system. Four weeks. One real project. Shipped live.

Why this exists

The shortage isn’t people who can use AI.
It’s people who can build with it.

Pakistan has a very large number of capable programmers and a very small number who have ever designed an agentic system end to end. That gap is where the salaries, the contracts and the companies are. This programme is aimed squarely at it.

Learning to prompt

Learning to engineer the machine that prompts

Chaining calls in a notebook

Designing loops, graphs, budgets and stopping conditions

Treating the model as magic

Knowing what training made it good at, and what it never will be

A demo that works once

A system that survives real users, real cost and real failure

The curriculum

Four weeks. Four gears.

Each week ends with something that runs. Nothing here is theory for its own sake — the order exists because week four is impossible without week one.

Core software engineering

Most people trying to build with AI fall over on the boring parts — types, boundaries, state, failure. Week one rebuilds those muscles properly, in TypeScript, with the standards a production team would actually hold you to.

  • Types as design, not decoration — modelling a domain so bad states cannot compile
  • Boundaries and contracts: validation at every edge the outside world touches
  • Failure design — timeouts, retries, idempotency, and what to do when a call half-works
  • Reading a codebase you did not write, and changing it without breaking it
  • Testing what matters: the tests that catch real regressions, not coverage theatre
What you walk out with

A small service with a typed core, validated edges, and tests that fail for the right reasons.

What it leads to

The project doesn’t go in a folder.
It goes on the platform.

DigitalPakistan already runs the ecosystem directory, the talent network, the incubation programmes and the investor side. Finishing this course plugs your work into all four of them.

Your project goes live

Not a certificate. A working system published on DigitalPakistan, with your name on it and a URL you can send to anyone.

A route into full-time work

The strongest builds get put in front of the companies hiring through our talent network — with the code as the CV.

A route into investment

If what you build looks like a company rather than a project, it goes to the incubation and investment side of the platform.

A verified profile

Graduates get a listed builder profile in the ecosystem directory, tied to a verified Pakistan Pass identity.

To be plain about it: a job and investment are outcomes we work towards, not promises we sell. What is guaranteed is the teaching, the project, and that your finished work gets published and seen.

The fee

Two ways in. Same seat.

Funded and paying participants sit in exactly the same room, do exactly the same work, and nobody in the cohort is told which is which.

Paid seat
PKR 50,000PKR 12,000

One payment, four weeks, everything included.

  • All four weeks of live sessions and project reviews
  • Your project published live on DigitalPakistan
  • Access to the talent network and hiring pipeline
  • Verified builder profile in the ecosystem directory
  • Nothing due until you have an offer in hand
Apply for a paid seat
Funded seat
Free

15 seats per cohort, funded by DigitalPakistan.

  • Identical programme — same sessions, same reviews, same project
  • No documents, no income proof, no interview about your finances
  • A few honest sentences in the form, read by a person
  • Your funded status is never disclosed to the cohort
  • Awarded on need and on how seriously you want it
Apply for a funded seat
This is for you if
  • You can already write code — any language — and want to build the systems everyone is talking about
  • You are a final-year student or fresh graduate and the job market is asking for things nobody taught you
  • You are a working engineer who can ship features but has never designed an agent loop from scratch
  • You are self-taught, have no degree to wave, and need work that speaks for itself
Honestly, not yet if
  • You have never written code before — start with the fundamentals first, then come back
  • You want a certificate to hang on a wall rather than a system to put in front of people
  • You cannot commit real hours for four weeks — this is dense, and falling behind is unpleasant

A GitHub link is the single most useful thing you can put in the application. It does not need to be impressive — it needs to be real.

Questions

What is the Master AI Harness?+

A four-week, project-based AI engineering programme from DigitalPakistan.io. It covers core software engineering, harness and loop and graph engineering for agentic systems, pretraining intuition and production RAG, and the art of system design. Every participant ships a real project that goes live on DigitalPakistan.

How much does it cost?+

The programme is PKR 50,000. For this cohort it is reduced to PKR 12,000 for the full four weeks — the largest discount we will run. 15 fully-funded seats are reserved for applicants who genuinely cannot afford the fee.

What if I cannot afford it?+

Then you apply for a funded seat. It is free, there are 15 of them per cohort, and you do not need to submit documents or proof of income — you write a few honest sentences about your situation and a person reads them. Needing a scholarship has never counted against an applicant.

Do I need to know how to code already?+

Yes. You should be comfortable writing and debugging code in at least one language, and comfortable reading code you did not write. You do not need machine learning experience, a computer science degree, or any prior work with AI systems.

What exactly will I build?+

A working agent harness of your own design — multi-tool, multi-step, with a graph you can defend — plus a grounded RAG system over a real corpus. In the final week both feed into a single system you design, ship and present, which is published on DigitalPakistan.

When does it start and how much time does it take?+

The start date is confirmed once the cohort is filled, and we give everyone at least two weeks of notice. Expect live sessions plus substantial project work each week. It is dense by design — four weeks is short, and the point is that you build something real inside it, not that you watch videos.

Does this lead to a job or investment?+

It can, and that is the point of shipping on the platform rather than into a folder. The strongest projects are put in front of companies hiring through our talent network, and projects that look like companies are routed to the incubation and investment side of DigitalPakistan. Nothing is guaranteed — the work decides.

When do applications close?+

No closing date is fixed yet — applications are reviewed as they arrive and the cohort closes when the seats are gone. Seats are limited, so earlier applications get more of our attention and more time to prepare.

When do I pay?+

Not at application. You only pay once you have received and accepted an offer of a seat. If you are offered a funded seat, you pay nothing at all.

Terms & conditions

The small print, written plainly

  1. 1. Applying is free and is not a seat. Submitting this form costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Seats are limited to 60 for cohort-1 and are allocated at our discretion on merit and need.
  2. 2. The fee. The programme fee is PKR 50,000, reduced to PKR 12,000 for this cohort. The discounted rate applies only to seats accepted for cohort-1 and may be withdrawn for future cohorts. Payment is due only after you accept an offer, and before classes begin.
  3. 3. Funded seats. 15 fully-funded seats are reserved per cohort for applicants who cannot afford the fee. They are awarded on stated need and on the strength of the application. We do not require documentary proof, and we do not disclose who holds a funded seat.
  4. 4. Refunds. If we cancel or materially change the cohort before it begins, you receive a full refund. If you withdraw before the first session, you receive a full refund. After the first session the fee is non-refundable, because the seat cannot be resold mid-cohort.
  5. 5. Your project and your work. You own your code and your ideas. By enrolling you grant DigitalPakistan.io a licence to publish your finished project, your name and a description of your work on the platform and in related promotion. You may ask us to unpublish at any time.
  6. 6. Outcomes are not guaranteed. We introduce strong projects to hiring companies and to the incubation and investment side of the platform. We do not promise, and cannot promise, a job, an offer, funding or any specific outcome. Nothing on this page is an offer of employment or investment.
  7. 7. Conduct and attendance. The cohort is dense and collaborative. We may remove a participant for harassment, plagiarism or sustained non-participation. Removal for conduct does not carry a refund.
  8. 8. Your data. What you submit is used to assess your application and to run the programme. It is handled under our privacy policy, alongside our general terms of service. Scholarship statements are read only by the review team.
  9. 9. Changes. Dates, session times and curriculum details may shift; we will tell you by email if they do. These terms apply to cohort-1 and may change for later cohorts.
